Trongsa Dzong — Trongsa, Bhutan
Trongsa Dzong is the largest dzong fortress in Bhutan, located in Trongsa district. It was built in 1644 on a mountain spur overlooking the gorge of the Mangde River. The first and second kings of Bhutan ruled from this ancient seat of power.
